Short description
In the town of Gran Alacant (8 km from Alicante Airport) on the Spanish Costa Blanca (= white coast) lies the pedestrianized complex of Costa Hispania, where this attractive accommodation is located. There are no less than 4 swimming pools in the complex which are open (with supervision) from the 1st May until the 15th September. Other facilities include two tennis courts and a football field. At the main swimming pool there is a building where there is food and drinks. The houses are situated in a beautifully laid-out Mediterranean common garden. The location of the accommodation is ideal for families with children or for people who would like to enjoy a quiet holiday but nevertheless want to partake in a variety of tourist activities. The accommodation is just 400 meters from the beach, with a gently sloping sea bottom. This bungalow has a roof terrace and a balcony facing south, both of which are furnished. From the roof terrace you have an excellent view of the Mediterranean. Guests have a common parking garage at their disposal. Alternatively there's plenty of parking on the street.

On the Spanish east coast lies the Costa Blanca, the 'White Coast', with its beneficial sunshine and cool sea breeze. The distance from London to Alicante is 1,888km (including 1,660km via motorway). By plane it takes about 2,5 hours. A visit to the city of Alicante (8 km away) is highly recommended. Pass the day in this town shopping or visiting museums and monuments. Don't miss out on the town of Santa Pola with its salt lakes, also just 8 km away. This idyllic fishing port was once an important Roman harbor. The fort, which dates from the 1600s, now houses the archaeological museum and an aquarium. Take the ferry from the Santa Pola coast to the small island of Tabarca. Only 40 people live here and almost everything is prohibited: camping, water-skiing, etc. Still the island attracts hundreds of visitors daily. The city wall surrounding the village has three towers. Several narrow streets lead up to the church square. The most peculiar house is the governor's residence which houses the island's only hotel. A must for young and old is a visit to the aqua park in neighbouring Torrevieja (30 km). Here you will find huge slides and several swimming pools. You can enjoy horseback riding with Dutch instructors (beach rides or take lessons) or visit the Rojales golf course 10 km away. Summers last long in this area (from the end of April until the second half of October) and winters do not get colder than ca. 12 C, so you can visit the Costa Blanca year round!

This newly built house (2000) is adequately and completely furnished and is suitable for a max. of 4 people. The house has 2 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, the other is furnished with two single beds and a bunk bed. The open kitchen has plenty of light, it is well-equipped for 4 people and includes a microwave, oven, refrigerator and freezer. In the living room you have a satellite TV and a radio with CD-player. In the bathroom you can relax comfortably in the bathtub. There's also a second toilet here. A baby bed can be rented for € 2 per day. The same charge applies for a highchair.

ATTENTION! Availability is restricted. You will be notified within a few days whether your booking has been confirmed. In case of a one-week booking, arrival and departure are on Saturday, if there is no other agreement. Online bookings are billed directly by e-mail. Smoking is prohibited in the house. Youth groups are not admitted.
Arrival: between 15:00 and 19:00. Departure: by 10:00 a.m. Alternative times are possible only by prior arrangement. You are requested to keep the house tidy during your stay and launder your bed and bath linen when necessary. Please account for the fact that the house is part of a community with permanent residents who will appreciate your consideration of their working and resting hours as well as their values and social norms. The tenant will receive a set of keys to the house. In case of loss, house locks will be replaced at the expense of the tenant.

Deposit to be paid locally is € 200. You will receive it back on the last day of your stay, after the house has been checked. In case of accommodations with an electricity meter, the electricity costs (0.20 per kwh) will be deducted from the deposit. In case of accommodations without a meter, the fixed electricity costs are due upon arrival.

You have to order bed linen and towels and pay for it on arrival. Or take your own with you.
