This holiday house is bounded by forests - a great place for a peaceful walk or for enjoying breathtaking views! If you walk back to the main road and turn right you can even walk to the top of the Radhošť (7 km). This is a renown tourist area with Wallachian houses built in the local architectural style. There are restaurants and excellent panoramas. Walk across the ridge and you can admire the statue of the god Radegast. Take the paved road to the village of Trojanovice (5 km) and from there go up by chair-lift. 12 km from the holiday home lies the tourist town of Rožnov with its beautiful and cosy town square containing many shops. However, the main attraction in Rožnov is the Open Air Museum, where in three locations you can see how the inhabitants of this area used to live and work. All houses and workshops are completely intact. Each weekend there are old craft exhibitions and folklore shows with dancers and singers adorned in local costume. If you would like to know more about Czech culture and traditions, a visit to Rožnov is a must. Meanwhile golfers should not miss out on the 9-hole golf-course situated close to Rožnov (6 km). The holiday home makes an excellent starting point for excursions to the neighbouring country of Slovakia. It is after all only 14 km to the border. The Tatra Mountains have plenty of natural beauty and it's always fun to check-out the differences between the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In any case, food is still cheaper there than in the Czech Republic.
