In the area there is plenty to see and do. In addition, you can go swimming in your own private pool in the garden or go for a swim or sunbathing in the wellness town of Vítkovice (15 km). There are further possibilities in Rusava (25 km), Kostelec or the very famous wellness town of Luhačovice (20km). You can also fish for trout in a nearby lake without a license but with the permission of the owner. There is a golf course 10km away and a 9-hole golf course in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm (40 km). The tourist town of Rožnov is well known for it's Wallachian open-air museum, where you can see how people used to live in this area . Throughout the year you'll find shows and festivals, especially on the weekends. The zoo of Zlín is close by (8km) and is the most beautiful and modern zoo in the Czech Republic. Zlín itself (18km) is well worth a visit. This is the town where Bata started to manufacture shoes. In the old factory there is now a shoe museum, with shoes from various periods and from all over the world. You can use the elevator that has now been decorated as Tomas Bata's office with a desk, telex and hot and cold running water. It's truly unique! The environment has many forests and is a great place for walks and bicycle tours. You can ask the owner for bikes. The area also has lots of mushrooms. A good end to the day is to have dinner in one of the two cosy inns of the village: "Na rozcestí" (at the crossing) and "U Köglerů", 100 steps from the house.
