Plenty of room, no less than five bedrooms, your own beer tap, nature all around, a large lake in the vicinity and a city nearby - all elements for a wonderful holiday are present in this Slezská Harta holiday home, which is situated in a part of the Jeseniky Mountains of the same name. This mountain range lies in the northern part of the Czech Republic, east of the Giant Mountains and Eagle Mountains. The main attractions in this area are the unbelievably beautiful nature (almost 50% is covered by forests), the large Slezská Harta reservoir (lake) where all kinds of aquatic sports can be enjoyed and the district capital of Bruntál 4 km away. At the rear of the house there is an extension, which originally was meant to be a terrace, but ultimately became a large room with a bar. In the building there is also a playroom with a table football game and a pool table. The house is surrounded by a garden and a river runs right by the front. From the rear garden you have an unobstructed view of the fields and forests. On the grounds of the home there is room to park several cars.

Winter sports; Among nature
There is enough lawn around the house for ball games. The garden contains outdoor furniture and a parasol. In the corner of the garden there is a fireplace surrounded by benches. Wood for the open fire pit is included in the price. Due to the fact that 45% of the area is covered by forests, the possibilities for hiking and cycling are almost unlimited. Hiking in the forests begins just 200m from the house. The landlord rents mountain bikes. In the entire area 5 cycling tracks have been marked out, ranging from 15 – 55 km in length and varying in difficulty. Bruntál (4km) is always included in the itinerary. The village of residence is included in two of the cycling routes. The main attraction is the large Slezská Harta reservoir lake (2km) which stretches out over 13 km in the Moravice valley, and another 3.5 km in the Black Brook Valley. At its widest point the lake is 1.7 km wide. This huge lake offers opportunities for all conceivable variations of aquatic sports: swimming, diving, boating, angling, surfing and sunbathing on the beach or in the grass. A fishing permit for foreigners costs approximately € 25 per week. Angling for carp, roach, pike, eel and salmon is possible. An inflatable boat and paddles can be rented from the landlord. Of course there's more to do in the vicinity. Beautiful castles very much worth visiting include: Bruntál castle, Raduň castle (42 km), Šternberk castle (41 km), Sovinec castle in Rýmařov (23 km) and Hradec nad Moravicí (41km). Opava with its 50000 inhabitants has a lively center and a botanical garden, arboretum and museum and is really worthwhile. Close to Písečná (54 km) lies Špičák cave and close to Lipová Lázně (50 km) there is the Na Pomezí cave. For the active holidaymakers there are tennis courts in Nová Pláň (14 km; 1 court), Bruntál (5 courts), Vrbno (27 km; 3 courts), and Mnichov at Vrbno (29 km; 3 courts). Horseback riding is possible in Bruntál, Nová Pláň, Svétlá Hora (14 km), Dolní Moravice (20 km), Stará Rudná (12 km) and Malá Morávka (19 km). Squash, bowling and skittles can be done in Bruntál. Indoor swimming pools can be found in Nová Pláň and Bruntál (swimming pool and pool for children), Vrbno (swimming pool and small pool). A worthwhile day trip is Nysa (69 km) or Otmuchow (81 km) in Poland. Nysa is a rather large town with plenty of monumental architecture and activity centers. Both towns have large lakes for aquatic sports.

After you have parked your car, enter the house at the rear via the private entrance. You will come into a terrace room which has tables and chairs, a TV and a real bar. Order a keg and you can have your own cool, clear beer on tap; a pint for less than half a euro! Please note: this room is only for residing guests and for no one else. From this room, by way of a few steps, you enter a hallway where you will find a cupboard and a refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. The first bedroom is located on the ground floor and is furnished with bunk beds, 1 single bed, a table with chairs and a wardrobe. By way of the staircase you come to an open area containing the kitchen. Under the cabinet there are cupboards and drawers with pans, crockery and cutlery. On the cabinet there is a toaster, microwave and electric kettle and next to it an electric cooker with two hot-plates and an extraction fan. Furthermore, the kitchen has a table with chairs and a cupboard. The four bedrooms on the upper floor are furnished with single beds, a wardrobe, tables and chairs. Three of these four bedrooms are suitable for two persons, the last for three persons. No lack of storage space and all bedrooms have a TV. The bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet. Due to the large area with the bar downstairs this is an excellent accommodation for a group up to a max. of 12 persons.
