Winter sports; In the mountains; Among nature
The vicinity of Horní Mísečky is not only suitable for tourists who would like to hike without too much variety in altitude, but also for those who appreciate more demanding mountain hikes through the Giant Mountains. Many marked hiking and cycling trails over the mountain ridges begin in Mísečky. The large variety of well-maintained roads, mountain trails and paths with steep parts over rocks are the top of the bill for most mountain bikers. The main tourist trail over the ridge leads to the source of Elbe River, less than 6 km from Mísečky. The town of Špindlerův Mlýn lies in a valley on the other side and is just 3 km away on foot (or with the chair lift), while via road the distance is almost 40 km. The local climate is good for the cultivation of mushrooms, blackberries and raspberries. A delicacy for berry-lovers! Thanks to the location you can enjoy both a view of the imposing mountain ridges and the picturesque valleys of the Giant Mountains. Fancy going out for a day and do something else? Rokytnice nad Jizerou, with its beautiful town hall and cozy center, offers plenty of activities like bowling, horseback riding, hiking to the 20m high Hute Waterfalls, rafting, tennis, volleyball, etc. A trip to Liberec is also very worthwhile, even if it is just for swimming and relaxing at the Babylon Aqua Center. After a day of activities you can enjoy a sumptuous meal at a reasonable price in one of the many restaurants.
