Special; Among nature; Near water
In and around this house in southern Bohemia there is plenty to see and do. To begin with there's the immense Lake Lipno (with a length of 45 km!). This region is visited each year by countless Czech and foreign tourists because of the virtually unlimited possibilities for aquatic sports. A ferry service runs between the towns on the lake. The lake is surrounded by undulating hills. At 10 km you'll find an aqua park, Marina Lipno. Here you can swim (indoors) or enjoy wild-water rafting.
West of Frymburk lies the Bohemian Forest with its landscape of mountains, forests and lakes. To the northeast lies the famous medieval town (complete with fortress) of Cesky Krumlov (20 km); the Vyssili Brod monastery (15 km); Rozmberg fortress (20 km) and Hloboka castle (60 km). The Czech capital of Prague is ca. 150 km away.
