In the town of Gran Alacant (8 km from Alicante Airport), on the Spanish Costa Blanca (= white coast), lies the stylish development of Novamar where you'll find this attractive accommodation. This is an ideal venue for families with children. There are several possibilities for sports and entertainment here such as a riding academy, museum and facilities for aquatic sports, all situated within a reasonable distance. This accommodation is not exclusively for families. People looking for a quiet holiday are sure to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Gran Alacant. Adjacent to the development there is a nature area which is excellent for walking, barbecuing, mountain biking or bird-spotting (at the lake). Several cash dispensers can be found on the boulevard as well as in the immediate vicinity. Information on several excursions can be obtained from the Tourist Information Office located on the boulevard. In the hospital (1800m away) there are German and English-speaking doctors. This beautiful holiday accommodation in the center of the development is within walking distance of the swimming pool.

On the Spanish east coast lies the Costa Blanca, the 'White Coast', with its health-improving sunshine and cool sea breeze. From Amsterdam to Alicante there are 1888 km by car (including 1660 via motorway). By plane it takes about 2 hours from Rotterdam Airport. A visit to the city of Alicante (15 km away) is very recommended. Pass the day in this town shopping or visiting museums and monuments. Of course don't miss out on the town of Santa Pola with its salt lakes, also just 8 km away. This idyllic fishing port was once an important Roman harbor. The fort, which dates from the 1600s, now accommodates an archaeological museum and an aquarium. Take the ferry from the Santa Pola coast to the small island of Tabarca. You'll only find 40 inhabitants and almost everything is prohibited: camping, water-skiing, etc. Yet the island attracts hundreds of visitors daily. The city wall surrounding the village has three towers. Several narrow streets lead up to the church square. The most peculiar house is the Stadtholder's residence which today houses the island's only hotel. A real must for young and old alike is a visit to the aqua park in neighboring Torrevieja (30 km). Here you will find huge slides along with several swimming pools. You can enjoy horseback riding with Dutch instructors (beach rides or take lessons) or visit the Rojales golf course (10 km). Summers last long in this area (from the end of April until mid-October) and winters do not get colder than ca. 12 C, so you can visit the Costa Blanca all year round!
Fittings
This holiday home is equipped with all that is necessary for a comfortable stay. The ground floor has three bedrooms, one bedroom has a double bed, the other bedrooms have two single beds each. There are two bathrooms, one en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom with a double bed has a terrace accessed from the bedroom through a sliding door.
The upper floor has a cozy living room with a sitting and dining area, there is a satellite TV with  international channels, a radio, a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, among others, a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and kettle. On this floor you will also find the third bathroom.
There is also air conditioning here. Adjacent to the living room, there is a balcony in the front, that offers views of the sea. Adjacent to the kitchen, in the back, there is a large terrace which offers views of the surrounding mountains and the airport.

You can reserve a parking space in the underground garage.
Right next to the holiday home there is the communal swimming pool, and a playground with playing equipment for children. The sea and a nature park are to be found in a 400 meters walking distance, as is the bus stop. The promenade with typical Spanish shops is 1.2 miles away, within walking distance. The village includes several restaurants, bars, a kiosk, Internet room, bakery, supermarkets, banks and a pet shop.

ATTENTION! Availability is restricted. You will be notified within a few days whether your booking has been confirmed. In case of a one-week booking, arrival and departure are on Saturday, if there is no other agreement. Online bookings are billed directly by e-mail. Smoking is prohibited in the house. Youth groups are not admitted.
Arrival: between 15:00 and 19:00. Departure: by 10:00 a.m. Alternative times are possible only by prior arrangement. You are requested to keep the house tidy during your stay and launder your bed and bath linen when necessary. Please account for the fact that the house is part of a community with permanent residents who will appreciate your consideration of their working and resting hours as well as their values and social norms. The tenant will receive a set of keys to the house. In case of loss, house locks will be replaced at the expense of the tenant.

Deposit to be paid locally is € 200. You will receive it back on the last day of your stay, after the house has been checked. In case of accommodations with an electricity meter, the electricity costs (0.20 per kwh) will be deducted from the deposit. In case of accommodations without a meter, the fixed electricity costs are due upon arrival.

You have to order bed linen and towels and pay for it on arrival. Or take your own with you.
