Holiday Park; Romantic; Among nature
About Overijssel it will always be said that this is the Netherlands in miniature: the northwest is a bog rich in water, the west is a flat, agricultural landscape and the south (Twente) has slightly sloping mountains and many rivers. In 'Kop van Overijssel' water is an important landmark and forms nature reserves which are a wonderful place for hikers and canoers. The holiday park is situated along a well-paved bike trail from where you can explore (in good weather) the beautiful surroundings. Directly at the park there is the Dedem bicycle route and 4km away you will find the Reestdal route. These excellent bicycle routes and the agreeable, gentle climate are characteristic of this beautiful area. In the vicinity there are numerous opportunities for day trips: Slagharen Amusement Park (4 km), Hellendoorn Adventure Park (20 km), Noorderdierenpark Emmen Zoo (20 km), or Walibi World (50 km). Museums and gardens can also be found in the area such as the gardens of Mien Ruys (4 km), the pond gardens of Ada Hofman (10 km) and a tin figures museum at 10 km. The Ecodrome is 30 km away and Anton Pieck Museum in Hattum is 45 km away. Of the beautiful castles and country estates in the immediate vicinity, you should not miss: Rechteren Castle and Chateau Eerde.
