Short description
This nice and completely furnished freestanding house is located in the urbanization of "El Raso" directly at the coast of Guardamar with its beautiful and long sandy beaches. On the urbanization there is a swimming pool that's open all year round (not heated). The accommodation is well equipped and nicely furnished, suitable for a stay in both summer and winter. The house has air-conditioning (warm and cold) in all rooms. You'll find various shops and dining facilities in the area. The village of Guardamar offers many facilities such as a boulevard, a weekly and evening market, supermarket, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, internet café, post office, bus stop etc. It's located at a 3km distance. Smoking is prohibited in the building and 1 pet is allowed. Just outside the district a lively tourist market is held each Sunday. We advise a (rental) car.

On the Spanish east coast lies the Costa Blanca (the 'White Coast') with its healthy sunshine and cool sea breeze. The distance from Amsterdam to Alicante (by car) is approx. 2200 km. By air, it is about 2 hours. There is a good bus service to Torrevieja in Alicante. A visit to the city of Alicante, only 38 km away, is highly recommended. You can spend a leisurely day shopping or visit local museums and monuments. Also recommended is a trip to the town of Santa Pola, with its salt lakes, only 8 km away. In former times this was an idyllic fishing town and major Roman port. The 17th century fort houses an archaeological museum and an aquarium. From the coast of Santa Pola you can take a ferry to the small island of Tabarca. This island has a population of just 40 people, and almost everything is forbidden here: camping, water-skiing, etc. Nevertheless, hundreds of people visit the island daily. The city wall, which surrounds the village, has three towers. All the streets lead to the church square. The strangest building is the house of the chief magistrate, where you will find the only hotel in the village. Another recommended destination for young and old is the aqua park in nearby Torrevieja (30km). Here you will find several swimming pools with large slides. In Rojales (10 km away) you can go horseback riding on the beach accompanied by an instructor (riding lessons are also available) or spend your time at the golf course. Summers in this area last from late April to mid-October; in winter it does not get much colder than 12 degrees, making the Costa Blanca is the perfect year-round travel destination!
Fittings
This nice accommodation is located in a separate complex with a beautiful and well-maintained garden. The house has 3 levels. Downstairs layout: living room with radio/CD, video, television, half open kitchen, one bathroom with shower and toilet, bedroom. First floor: two bedrooms and the second bathroom with bath and toilet. On the top floor there is a solarium with a nice view over the salt lake. In front of the house is a big terrace with plenty of garden furniture. There is air conditioning.

ATTENTION! Availability is restricted. You will be notified within a few days whether your booking has been confirmed. In case of a one-week booking, arrival and departure are on Saturday, if there is no other agreement. Online bookings are billed directly by e-mail. Smoking is prohibited in the house. Youth groups are not admitted.
Arrival: between 15:00 and 19:00. Departure: by 10:00 a.m. Alternative times are possible only by prior arrangement. You are requested to keep the house tidy during your stay and launder your bed and bath linen when necessary. Please account for the fact that the house is part of a community with permanent residents who will appreciate your consideration of their working and resting hours as well as their values and social norms. The tenant will receive a set of keys to the house. In case of loss, house locks will be replaced at the expense of the tenant.

Deposit to be paid locally is € 200. You will receive it back on the last day of your stay, after the house has been checked. In case of accommodations with an electricity meter, the electricity costs (0.20 per kwh) will be deducted from the deposit. In case of accommodations without a meter, the fixed electricity costs are due upon arrival.

You have to order bed linen and towels and pay for it on arrival. Or take your own with you.
