Short description
This 4-story villa was built on a slope facing the Adriatic Sea. The village and harbor are situated in one of the bays on the southern side of the island of Korcula, 19 km east of Vela Luka and 4 km from Smokvica. The sea, which is ideal for swimming and relaxing, is only 60m from this modern villa. The smaller beach is sandy while the larger one is comprised of pebbles. 500 meters away you will find another sandy beach in Istruga. The apartments of the villa are surrounded by trees and bushes.

Wellness; On an island; Near water
Brna is situated on Korčula Island, halfway between Vela Luka and the city of Korcula, where Marco Polo was born. Thanks to its position, Brna has a favorable climate and is protected from the Bura winds in winter. The village is known for its vineyards and the wines of Rukatac and Posip. The gastronomic offerings includes seafood specialties and the aforementioned excellent wines which compliment the Dalmatian cuisine. Founded in the 19th century for the purpose of exporting wine from the island to the mainland, today Brna is more oriented towards tourism. The pebble and sandy beaches surrounded by bushes and pine trees are characteristic of this area. The beautiful sea is abundant in fish and makes this destination very popular with fisherman and sailing enthusiasts, while the islets and cliffs dispersed in front of Brna present a challenge for skippers. The island is connected to the mainland by ferry from Split to the towns of Korcula or Vela Luka or from Orebic to the town of Korcula. Interesting cultural sites are located in the village of Smokvica. Here you can visit baroque houses, fortalices of Korcula’s aristocrats and the parish church which was built at the beginning of the century upon the foundations of a 17th century church. In the vicinity of Brna lies the bay of Istruga, known for its medicinal mud which is used by the locals who believe that it has beneficial effects. We recommend visiting the village of Blato with its fortalices and houses of historic value; the town of Vela Luka which is currently a ferry port but was the place where the first Greek colony on the island was founded; and Vela Cave, a Neolithic archaeological site above Vela Luka.
