The open-air spa is part of a 30 hectare park. It is open between the 1st of May and the 30th of September each year. Each and every one of the 13 pools - which include adventure pools, swimming pools, wave pools, effervescent pools and children's pools - are quite popular and are sure to provide hours of entertainment for every age group. The little ones will love the toys and statuettes in the children's pools - hippopotamuses, seals and turtles. The most popular feature of the bath is its Mediterranean beach lined with palm trees. A pirate ship and lighthouse provide an unforgettable sight on the shore of the crystal clear waters of the giant pool. In the sports center of the spa, beach volleyball, beach football, streetball, football-tennis and tennis are possible. In addition, there are several catering establishments and restaurants inside the open air spa. These serve local specialties as well as European cuisine. The Aquapark, which was the first adventure pool in Hungary, was built in 2000 and is also located inside the open-air spa. Beginning from 12-meter-high towers there are 9 giant water slides (a four-lane racing slide, kamikaze slide, hydro-slide, black hole, crazy river, giant slide, Niagara, big hole and twister) whose total length is more than a kilometer. Children will be amused by the mini slides, lifelike elephants and water castles in the pools, as well as the wooden playground. For those who prefer a more tranquil adventure, we suggest trying the drifting stream. The Aquapark is also located inside the open-air spa and entrance requires an extra ticket. The indoor medicinal bath is open year round between 7am and 7pm. In addition to the 3 thermal pools inside the hall, there are 4 outdoor thermal adventure pools. More than 40 kinds of treatments are available which are based on the tested and qualified medicinal waters. Guests can enjoy these treatments under the supervision of a physician. Among the treatments we would like to mention the weight bath, several kind of massages, mud treatments, underwater jet massages, therapeutic gymnastics, inhalation treatments and a whole range of soft-laser, electro-, magnetho-, and light therapies. Because of the iodine, bromine and salt content of Hajdúszoboszló's water, a number of ailments can be treated.
