Among nature; On an island; Near water
Captain Dieter has only one mission: to show you the natural beauty of the Wadden Sea. With his ship, the Vega II, you will sail from the old fishing village of Fedderwardersiel out into the open sea. The trip will take you to the abode of seals in the Wadden Sea. Mudflats are healthy and fun! The coast along the Butjadingen peninsula forms a huge part of the Lower Saxony Wattenmeer National Park - 2,800 square kilometers that runs along the Wadden Sea from the Dutch to the Danish border. If it's low tide, Ralf will take you on a journey through the mudflats - an unforgettable trip across 'the bottom of the sea'. Butjadingen is also perfect for long bike rides. You can rent bikes at the Breeze Nick Radde rental service, located next to the Nordseeküste holiday park. Meander through small but wonderful towns like Jericho and Niens Langwarden. In the aquariums of the Museum Nationalparkhaus Fedderwardersiel you will find fish native to the Wadden Sea. This museum is about 10 km away. Those who dare can pet the starfish and crabs!
