At the beach; Holiday Park

You simply cannot be bored at Parc du Soleil! Besides facilities like an indoor swimming pool, restaurants and play areas, the recreation team always does their best to keep your child (ren) entertained during the summer months! Craft hours, sports competitions, costume parties, bouncy castles and sometimes a real kids disco! There is also a youth center with table football, pinball, various console games, etc. Bad weather? No problem, Parc du Soleil has a great indoor playground.

Coffee, fries, lunch, drinks or dinner? It's all available at "The Eeterij Experience". This Old English-style restored pub is now a grand café/restaurant and is a great place to spend a really nice evening. Relaxing in the cozy "Chesterfield corner" or sitting at the bar, it is sure to be an evening to remember.

Noordwijk has two centers, which are separated by a green belt. Once an old fishing village, Noordwijk is now a seaside resort with a long coastline. It is one of the richest pieces of the Netherlands, and stands at 12th place in the list of the top 50 wealthiest neighborhoods in the Netherlands.

The old center of Noordwijk still radiates the tranquility of former centuries. In 1992 the old village was designated a protected site. Noordwijk, like the surrounding municipalities, was formerly a bulb cultivation center. As time passed, the population increased its focus on tourism. Noordwijk today has many nice restaurants, shopping facilities and sightseeing opportunities. Especially in summer it is crowded and full of vibrant fun! In Noordwijk you will also find a marina, bowling alley and party center, tennis courts, riding stables, the Space Expo and much more! Along the coast lie numerous villages, each with its own atmosphere. The famous flower bulb fields are also in the immediate vicinity. In spring this is a real attraction!

Other nearby attractions include: the Duinrell amusement park in Wassenaar; Keukenhof (Lisse), known as the Garden of Europe, with its beautiful 32 acre setting of traditional and modern landscaped gardens (open March / May); the Omniverse in The Hague, the only big-screen cinema in the Netherlands; Madurodam in The Hague, reproduces the Netherlands in miniature; the large playground of Linnaeushof in Bennebroek; the Peace Palace in The Hague; the large Artis Zoo in Amsterdam; and Corpus Experience (Oegstgeest) where you can take a journey through the human body (for children over 6 years of age).

More than enough opportunities for a wonderful stay in Noordwijk, courtesy of Parc du Soleil!
