Short description
On the outskirts of the village of Vernerovice, 40 km east of the Giant Mountains, in close proximity to shopping and a restaurant (300 m) lie these two new apartments plus a mini camping area. The 2 apartments are part of an old barn (over 100 years old), equipped with modern comforts yet retaining the original atmosphere. You have a panoramic view of the countryside and mountains. Do not be surprised if roe deer or other users of your garden come for a visit and storks stop off on your roof.
The heating throughout the house and apartments is by wood-burning stoves.
The new building has been built with respect for the old, but we have used the latest techniques with respect to energy. The hot water is by way of solar hot water heaters and there is underfloor heating throughout the building. Furthermore, the insulation is of the highest level.
We have our own on-site water treatment plant so only clean water enters the local stream. Our philosophy is geared towards being environmentally friendly, a natural way of live and let live.
Guests will enjoy an atmosphere of tranquility, with leisurely and healthy walks, a great place for a wonderful holiday.

<p>This house is situated in the Broumovské Steny conservation area. The famous Adršpach Teplice rock park is just a short (walking) distance away (5 km). The sandstone rock formations of Adršpach are world famous and attract thousands of tourists each year. Therefore, this is a well-developed tourist area with opportunities for hiking and biking, mountaineering and horseback riding. The nearest stable with horses and pony´s is 5 km away. The region is very suitable for an active holiday. At a walking distance (2,5 km) there is a new entertainment center Walzelcentrum with bowling, shooting gallery, climbing walls for young and old, wine shop, restaurant, fitness center and salt cave. There are swimming pools in Meziměstí (4 km), Teplice (5 km) and Police (10 km) plus there are several lakes nearby which you can swim in. There is also a fishing lake at 3 km. In the summer there are cultural programs held in the area such as theater and a series of classical concerts in the exceptional surroundings of the baroque churches in the villages and in the garden of the Broumov monastery. Golf enthusiasts can indulge themselves at the 9-hole golf course Grosshof in Broumov. There are also excursions organized for guests including a walking tour; a visit to a brewery or the monastery of Kreszów; the underground works near Osówka which date from the Second World War; or the castle of Ksias in Walbrzych. These excursions include Dutch guides. The area around the house is unique for its numerous birds, wildlife and the tranquility and space it offers.

The house consists of 2 apartments. Each apartment can accommodate 6 persons and contains a spacious living room with floor heating, cozy wood-burning stove, smart TV with internet; a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven and ceramic hob; a cozy dining area; and a sitting area with a sofa bed.
Sun terrace and south-facing garden with outdoor furniture and wood storage (you have unlimited use of the wood).
On the 1<sup>st</sup> floor: 2 bedrooms, 1 furnished with twin beds, the other with two single beds. Bathroom with shower, toilet and bathtub. Crib available upon request. Pets will be allowed upon request.

Bed linen will be provided at a cost of 5 euro / p.p. You must bring your own bath and kitchen linen.
Dogs are welcome, provided they sleep in a dog crate and they may not roam on the property. For traveling by public transport is a dog muzzle necessary.
In the period from October to May, you must pay a fee for heating (50 euro / per apartment, 100 euro / per house). We expect the house to be left in the same condition as you found it: i.e. the furniture, etc. in the same place as upon arrival and the house is left clean for the next tenants. If after inspection by the administrator the house is found not to be clean, you will have to pay a cleaning fee.
