The sea caves
Among the major karstic phenomenons of the Apulian coast, there are the caves, carved from thousands of years of rainwater and corrosive activity of the sea. The picturesque scenery of caves, potholes, sinkholes and cliffs is turned into something magical thanks to the light reflections on stalactites, stalagmites and ravines.
Archipelago of the Tremiti Islands

The archipelago, inhabited since the Neolithic era, is a marine nature reserve since 1989, part of the Gargano National Park because of the extraordinary presence of underwater fauna and flora. The importance of the Tremiti Islands wildlife is also underlined by a significant concentration of migratory birds, including the Eleonora's falcon, the Peregrine falcon and the only Adriatic colony of Cory's Shearwater and Shearwater.
