In Rokytnice and its surroundings you’ll find plenty of restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, “Weinstuben”, bike rental companies and the possibility to pursue a variety of activities including paragliding, roller skiing, zorbing (rolling downhill in a large plastic ball), rafting, tennis and climbing at a climbing center. Not too far away there is a cinema, nightclub and bowling alley. Besides sightseeing tours you can enjoy sports such as tennis, volleyball and football, riding, paintball, a sauna, fitness center and a sports hall for ball games and tennis. This tourist and sporting town is surrounded by a beautiful nature comprised of dense forests, clear streams and rivers, colorful flowers on green meadows and typical mountain vegetation. For cycling / mountain biking lovers there are many well-maintained trails that are connected to other tourist centers. These routes go over the tops of the Giant Mountains and run along the valley of the Jizera River. Transport of people and bikes to the mountain trails is possible by use of a four-seat lift. The mountain station is not far from the Dvoračky mountain hut, at an altitude of 1140 meters, at the crossroads of Rokytnice, Harrachov, Misecky and Spindleruv Mlyn. The region is dominated by mountain villages like Paseky and Jablonec a Vysoké. Just 12 km from Rokytnice lies Harrachov, the highest mountain center in the Giant Mountains, with numerous other tourist attractions such as the famous waterfall of Harrachov, a glassblower and mountain museum, golf course and summer toboggan run. It is easily accessible by car or hiking and biking trails.
