This bright and beautifully-converted barn of a farmhouse is located on the edge of the small hamlet of Biskupice-Pulkov, in the southernmost tip of one of the cleanest areas of the Czech Republic: the "Plateau" region on the border of South Moravia. The village is deeply cut in the woods and lies among two nature parks: the Jevišovka Nature Park and the Rokytná Nature Park. Clean air and pure nature are thus assured. You may think that the house is "in the middle of nowhere", but the truth is quite the opposite. There is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a peaceful family stay, but also plenty of opportunity for an active holiday exploring the surroundings. You can enjoy the clean air and peaceful atmosphere in the well-kept garden and courtyard, or on the furnished terrace complete with barbecue. Parking is possible on-site. You can go for a beautiful walk on a trail that begins directly by the house or forge your own way through the forests and valleys, which fortunately is still allowed in the Czech Republic. There are also numerous cycling trails in the surroundings. You can fish in the vicinity as well, but you will need to have a fishing license. You can swim in the nearby lakes or pools. The environment not only contains beautiful nature, but there are also many historic sights worth seeing. An active or relaxing holiday: both are possible here!

In the immediate vicinity you can take beautiful walks and bike rides, go swimming, look for mushrooms and enjoy a variety of excursions. There are many possible routes. The Bohemian-Moravian Plateau, rugged, beautiful, and full of variety and romance, runs from the South Bohemian Lakes to the border of the Hane region. Natural beauty comes in all forms here. Undoubtedly Vysočina (the Plateau) is one of the best preserved ecological areas in the Czech Republic. The area is open to active holiday makers year round. There are plenty of possibilities for excursions in the area like to Jevišovice (8 km) with its culture-sports center, an excellent restaurant, bowling alley, swimming pool with Jacuzzi and relaxing spa with sauna; the medieval town of Znojmo (25 km) with Loucky monastery, historic churches, cheese and wine shops, beautiful views of the valleys, the Thaya River, beautiful view of Austria from the town hall's tower, historic underground passages, a large pool with water attractions, and much more; Hatě - Freeport (35 km), known as Moravian Disneyland, with shops and restaurants; the Vranovská přehrada dam (30 km), suitable for fans of swimming, fishing and water sports; in the vicinity of the dam you can also tour the following castles: Bítov, Vranov nad Dyjí and Corstejn; Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou (12 km) with its baroque castle and a beautiful garden; Třebíč (25 km) and Telč (50 km), where you can see many monuments that are UNESCO World Heritage sites. In Třebíč there is a beautiful Romanesque-Gothic basilica, a Jewish cemetery and district from the 15th century.
But the best of all surely is to spend a nice holiday with young and old in and around the beautiful villa!

The Lojzik holiday home is an old barn which has been transformed into a modern villa, equipped with all the modern conveniences providing for a wonderful holiday. This loft-type villa consists of 2 floors and is suitable for 6-8 persons.  It has many large windows facing south and west, and thereby gives an open feeling with plenty of light. The layout of the ground floor is as follows: an open space which includes a kitchen, dining and living room, and toilet. The modern open kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer and a microwave. The adjacent dining and living room is furnished with a dining table, chairs, an impressive revolving stove, sofa and TV, and is optically separated from the kitchen by means of a bar with stools. On the ground floor there is a toilet. The beautiful open staircase leads to the mezzanine floor which has three double bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. On the second floor there is a (bed) room with two mattresses for 2 persons. This part has a spectacular view of the surroundings via a glass facade.




The villa offers unlimited internet access. The house is heated by way of underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. You can play table tennis in a separate indoor space. There is also a storage room for bicycles.




You can barbecue on the furnished terrace and you can play jeu de boules or badminton in the garden.
