The municipality of Ayas is fragmented into several villages, among which the best known are Antagnod, Champoluc, Champoluc, Saint-Jacques and Crest.
Antagnod is one of the most characteristic places accessible by the skiers of Monterosa Ski. The municipality of Ayas is a quiet and secluded tourist center known for its "lifts of the sun," so named for their favorable exposure and because they lead to the easy slopes at the foot of Mount Zerbion. Public transport provides regular connections with the nearby ski resort of Champoluc (4km) and with the International Centre for Nordic skiing in Brusson (10 Km). It is an ideal for families with children, for whom the Baby Snow Park has been dedicated. The village of Antagnod is located 1,710 meters above sea level, on the western slope of the Valle d'Ayas, and offers a superb view of Monte Rosa. 3 km away, cross-country skiers will find a red track, and 2000 meters away, in Barmasc, there is a 3 km piste. With snowshoes you can walk along a wide piste, the Ferraro - Verra - Col Valscoccia - Monte Facciabella. On this last mountain there is an interesting ski route of medium difficulty. Another longer route reaches the Gran Cima peak.
Champoluc, the most lively center in the area and a world-class Alpine resort, is part of the Monterosa ski resort: a large area with 180 km of slopes, 170 km of which are covered by snow cannon.
