Short description
The "Las Navilla" house is located among olive trees, at five kilometers from the village of Montefrio. Here you can really catch your breath, surrounded by peace and quiet. You can enjoy the surroundings, the sun that almost always accompanies you, and nature.
There are many hiking trails and special packages. Cyclists are in their element thanks to both road bikes and mountain bikes, which can be rented on the spot.
The house has extensive facilities, several bathrooms and fully-equipped kitchens. The garden, large terrace with tables and chairs and private swimming pool(8 x 4 m) with sun loungers, parasols are fully at your disposal. You can also use a barbecue, play table tennis and boules.
With the old buildings and the beautiful center the village of Montefrio is well worth a visit.

Montefrio is a small, white mountain village between Granada and Cordoba. With its castle, the only round church and nice terraces it is beautiful to see, and not touristy. The many beautiful Moorish villages around Granada are worth visiting. You can enjoy hiking and cycling in the surroundings.
Besides culture, you can enjoy the beautiful tranquility in nature and many walks or trekking on a mountain bike. Mountain bikes and road bikes can be rented on site. The bikes have dual suspension and special gears for the steep slopes around Montefrio. Montefrio is located at 850 m altitude, and climbs are more than enough!
Tailored racing bikes can be rented on request. The landlord is glad to advise you routes or even accompany you because he knows all roads in and around Montefrio like no other.
Nearby is a riding school which offers lessons and organizes 2-day trekking tours as well on horseback. It is a wonderful way to explore the surroundings, discover the various cafés of Montefrio with their delicious tapas, then relax by the pool at home. Even horseback riding at full moon is possible.
On-site is a league table place where you can play table tennis. A game of petanque with play or match balls will keep young and old entertained.
In terms of tourist attractions the surrounding area has a lot to offer. In Montefrio you can enjoy a tapas on a refreshing cool terrace at a reasonable price. Numerous restaurants and bars provide entertainment for the evening. Like in any self-respecting village in Andalusia the Fiestas are important days. The picturesque village center and some historic buildings remain forever in your memory.
Granada is an hour away, and offers the Alhambra, a monument that you shouldn't miss. The city itself is more than worth to explore.
Córdoba is 140 km away and can be reached quickly. A city that was the world's second-largest city with its 500,000 inhabitants in 10th century, has a lot to offer, especially in the historic center.
The sea is just over an hour's drive via Malaga or Motril.

- The Sierra Nevada mountain range with peaks above 3 km, and a national park with rich flora and fauna
