Romantic; Among nature
If you decide to come to the Veluwe, you will most likely come here to relax, enjoy the place and unwind. There is an extensive network of cycling and walking routes. You should not be surprised if on one of these trips you run into large animals that are hunted for sports here. The scenic village of Hoenderloo is located about 2 km from the park. There are various shopping and dining options, there is a tourist information center, bike rental, electricity museum, and of course the "famous" ice of Co.
The house is a good starting point for exploring the area, because the center is located between the three cities of Apeldoorn, Arnhem and Ede. They are all worth a visit. But there are plenty of other attractions and sites such as the Hoge Veluwe, the Kröller Müller, the Palace Het Loo, the Open Air Museum of Arnhem, the Burgers Zoo, the Baths Bussloo, the Apenheul, the Juliana, the Airborne Museum and many more.
