The department Tarn-et-Garonne is an ideal vacation region with a rich heritage. There are medieval villages, castles and museums. Nature lovers can enjoy the beautiful forests with a rich flora and fauna. In the North East lies a hiking paradise at the river gorges of the Aveyron with its limestone plateaus. Sunflowers, grains and garlic are grown in the hills of the Cascogne. The area where the estate is located is called Quercy Blanc. This region got its name from the white rock structure that is typical for these surroundings. The village Cazes-Mondennard is located on a distance of 4 kilometers. Here you can go to the supermarket and the French bakery for your daily groceries. In the nearby village of Lauzerte, you can visit an antique market in August (brocante). Repas evenings are organized regularly, where you can eat “the French way” at long tables. You can play petanque with the locals in Castelnau Montratier or simply watch them from a terrace while enjoying a tasty glass of wine. There is a lot to experience if you like sports. You can rent mountainbikes, go ballooning or golf on a golfcourt with 9 holes, par 3, 4 and 5. The village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val has a medieval village center with alleys and streets of more then 8 centuries old. The castle of Cas and the Caves of Bosce are also fun side trips. The Pont Valentré is a world famous 14-century bridge over the Lot. This bridge was part of the medieval fortifications.
