The sea, the beautiful beaches and lots of sun! Few towns in Sardinia are located at the seaside with the grace of Alghero, the capital of the River Reef, in the north-west of the island.
It is a quiet and beautiful area. It is not by chance that the English men had already discovered it in the '60s. Alghero is rich in history, monuments, very friendly pubs where to spend the night, goldsmithery, craft workshops for labor coral, and finally beautiful beaches. More animated during the summer, but never invaded by the artificial life we breathe in other places.
Situated on the hillside of the Mont Carru, 2 km out of Alghero, 1 km from the sea and about 3.5 km from a fine, sandy beach, the residence Vista Blu is built in the midst of nature, with a magnificent view, overlooking the bay of Capo Caccia.
It consists of 60 newly built units (2009): semi-detached little houses all with exposed stone. These ones feature a large, fully equipped terrace, a garden surrounded by small hedges or vegetation and a stone barbecue.
An external staircase leads to a sun terrace with loungers.
Each little house has a separate entrance overlooking a small garden.
Sun, sand and sea!!
Alghero, at the north-west of the island, rich in history, with its many monuments, but also in craftsmanship, with its goldsmithery and workshops, especially for coral, with its dynamic night-life (lots of pubs) and fine, sandy beaches, is a peaceful and marvelous spot, one of the most gracious sea-side towns in Sardinia. While becoming more lively in the summer, the town however avoids the artificial atmosphere of so many resorts.

- Water sports

- The Neptune caves. Situated on Cap Caccia point, on the other side of the bay of Porto Conte
- The bay of Porto Conte (or the bay of Nymphes), now a nature reserve and doubtlessly the largest natural port of the Mediterranean. A calm, peaceful bay, ideal for swimming and under-water diving, especially in its fifty or so underwater caves.

The fragility of the Italian system of energy is a reality in Sardinia. The electricity board norms are only 300 megawatts and as a result of this, it is not possible, for example, to use two electrical appliances at the same time.
As Italy is not equipped with nuclear energy, the risk of a power-cut or of a black-out linked partly to the hot climate, might inconvenience you.
We just wish to inform you of this potential inconvenience, which is beyond our control.
