In Kovářská there is a church dating from the 18th century which has a parsonage and a baroque Mary "plague column". To the west of the village you'll find a memorial to the captives of the 30 Years War plus a museum. The environment is ideal for cycling and hiking, even to Germany via the many pedestrianized crossings which lie within 3 to 6 km. The surrounding forests are a paradise for mushroom pickers. Perštejn (10 km) has the ruins of a castle. In Klásterec nad Ohří (17 km) there is a 19th century castle. Next to this town of healing springs, there is a park with beautiful statues, a porcelain museum and a modern water park called "Aqualand". Beyond the historic and attractive town of Kadan (23 km) lies the large reservoir of Nechranice (37km) which is popular for its sailing facilities. Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad 38 km), one of the most beautiful spas in Europe, is also worth a visit. The traffic-free historic city center still radiates the glory of former times. Finally, Prague (127 km), the capital and number one tourist attraction in the Czech Republic, simply must be seen.
