The Weerribben-Wieden National Park is directly adjacent to the bungalow park. It is a vast wetland area into an oasis of peace and it offers plenty of space. It is home to rare animals such as the otter, grass snake and black terns. There are numerous view points for bird watching as well. Experience a unique boating safari through the eyes of a forest ranger.
Through walking and cycling in the area you can experience the atmosphere in the numerous picturesque villages and towns nearby. There are many hiking and biking trails that start from the park. The surrounding area of the Villa Park Weerribben consists of forests, reed and watery landscapes, and is perfect for walkers and cyclists.
- While hiking you will encounter various species of flora and fauna. The lowest fenland area in Europe is namely a protected nature reserve.
- Cycling is also very easy here: you can rent (electric) bikes, children's bikes and go-karts at the park. With the numerous routes in the area, you can truly explore its beauty.
