Holiday Park; Among nature
Le Verdon-sur-Mer is located in the Gironde department, in the northernmost part of the Médoc peninsula, near the Pointe de Grave. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, the Gironde estuary, the vast forest of the countryside and the marshlands of Bruges. It is an ideal base for exploring this extraordinary region. You'll find a wide selection of tempting activities including sunbathing and swimming at the two beautiful beaches, and hiking and biking along numerous trails. Visit the three lighthouses which offer a beautiful view of the Gironde estuary: the Cordouan Lighthouse, the oldest in France and the first to be classified as a memorial (1862), complete with lighthouse museum; the Lighthouse of Grave; and the lighthouse of Saint Nicholas. You can also go on a discovery tour of the vineyards of the Bordeaux region (over 500 vineyards).
