At the beach; Near water
Pals central location on the Costa Brava makes it ideal for exploring many of the surrounding attractions like Begur, Torroella and Palafrugell, along with the medieval town of Peratallada. Take the train from the station at nearby Flaçà and you can soon be in the center of one of the most exciting cities in Europe: Barcelona. The town of Figueres was the birthplace of Salvador Dali and is now home to his incredible museum. Figueres can easily be reached by car. Other towns and sites of interest include the old market town of La Bisbal, famous for its ceramics; the ancient remains at Empuries; the botanical gardens at Cap Roig; the monastery at Montserrat; the lovely Gothic old center of Girona; and old harbor town of Saint Feliu with its medieval monastery.
The beach of Pals, at 3.5 kilometers, is ideal for water sports but you also have the chance to play other sports such as golf or tennis. Pals Golf Club is considered to be one of Spain’s finest golf clubs. And if all this would not be enough: Playa de Pals features a variety of cafes, bars and beach restaurants.
