At the beach; On an island; Near water
Koločep Island is an evergreen place full of pine trees entangled with citrus gardens and olive groves, about 25 minutes away by ferry from the Dubrovnik port of Gruz. Each end of this island is made of a beautiful sandy beach, there are lovely pre-Romanesque churches here, old summer manors, guardian castles and lots of fun to be had with hiking across the island, sightseeing, or riding a bicycle, besides enjoying the beach, of course.
The city of Dubrovnik, or “the pearl of the Adriatic” as many may refer to it, has an original beauty that is portrayed in its many historic features, its palaces and stunning churches, its breathtaking nature and its location by the sea.

The postcard-like landscape that reveals itself before your eyes from atop the city walls, the Old Town with the Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace, Onofrio’s Fountain, all pay tribute to the great atmosphere that completes your time spent in Dubrovnik.
The popular beaches of Banje and Lapad are great for sunbathing, for enjoying water sports and for simply relaxing in this beautiful scenery, while at just a ferry ride away you will find the Lokrum island, with some great places for swimming, with trails that allow you to explore its every corner and lead you to attractions such as the Botanical Garden here, or the French Fort Royal Castle.
