The coast of Javea has a varied landscape, which extends over a length of 25 km. In general, the land of the area is very uneven. The flat areas are composed of alluvial deposits, fertile lands, which are ideal for the cultivation of grapes, almonds, olives and oranges. The mountainous areas are covered by extensive pine forests.

It is located 100 km from Valencia (north) and 90 km from Alicante (south), between the capes of San Antonio and La Nao.
